I've been looking into buying new lights. I've been using $5 clamp lamps from Home Depot for the past couple of years, and although they've been relatively cheap (except for the numerous times I've had to replace the bulbs because I keep dropping the lamps), I'm really hitting the limitations of their usage. I kind of wanted to get Lowel Tota lights, but they're just too expensive for my nonexistent budget. Anyone have any suggestions of reasonably-priced lights that are more functional than the single-setting clamp lamps I'm using?

I've been meaning to try out high dynamic range (HDR) photography... Does anyone have any good tips/tutorials/websites on how to do it?

Were moved from the Horror & Macabre gallery to "scraps." I'm assuming that DA thinks that they are not "scary" or "gross" enough to be in the horror gallery, but I just want to know who was on enough of a power trip to think that they can impose preconceived notions of a genre onto other people? Not every piece that's filed under "horror" has to be of a person slathered in blood.

Help me out here.
